I am annoyed, well annoyed. I cant play this arena cos i'm off on hols in a few days, but i signed up to see what start i got; stars at 20, 34 and 46 , meaning i could get my 2nd system within 10 ticks. OMFG. This is unacceptable :O) Can we pause this arena till the 4th of april? I really don't wanna waste this start :O(

lol, your closest star is almost as close as the best planet in my starting system =/
pretty good starting position and distance of nearby stars, and reasonable home system sizes/classes... but they're 11, 17, 17, and 19 distance from my home planet, gah
Anyone else playing this arena? =)

I got a 7/1, 13/5 and hears the kicker, .... 2 planets of 19/1:D
but the nearest system is 60 hours away(!) thats 20 ticks(hehe;) )

theres something weard going on here.
i have been offline of ferion for 1-2 weeks due to a death in the familie. And now all the arena's where I log into...i got planets like 16/1 19/1 all above 16.
or is it just luck:confused:
I can't beleive it either - I'm going to be away for the first 48H and I've been waiting weeks for this arena to start!!!!

PS: If I were playing...which I am not my starting systems would be 40,43, 47, 55, and 60 away. That is if I were playing.......

and the score of the alliance suggests that you are not really doing good.
yeah... that you create an alliance that early, without anyone to join up with you, makes you look really n00bish... and even if you had someone, you can`t predict how he`s developing in the future at all... so either you or him (probably both) will suck...

Besides, my score is low because I haven't fully populated all of my planets, and they are small

No, settling only 1 per system is, I do it while I wait for the other ships to reach their stars. And besides, who are you gus to decide that any strategy thats not your own is considered noobish

yeah... if you were a veteran you`d know that ranks say exactly _nothing_ in the first 100-200 tick...

it depends
if you're in tick100 and ranked 1 with 3-4times as many score as the 2nd ranked player, that might already give quite a hint who's gonna win ~~
but that is you SCORE that tells you that... not the RANK!
So I shouldn't get too happy about being in the top ten yet.....

What it means is that like most n00bies you settle your home systems first instead of exploring deep. All the players in the top10 list above are no longer alive or not in the top 15 for that matter.
With the exception of Almazor....I remember when this list came out I was ranked 176....guess where I am now???

Well at least this vet is getting a bit interesting ,with this confrontations ,let?s see with will happen till turn 600, but i think this arena will last longer than i expected

Me and my mates are attacking and defending against eddi and his mates.
I am grouped with the Bulgarians, and he is grouped with the Germans (mostly).
It has been give and take mostly, except for Nisha who is killing everything and everyone in sight. Fugus who is also in the Axis alliance is growing rather large quickly. He evidently is not encountering much resistance.
Both the Axis alliance and the None alliance are at the top and are both attacking Lusitania to remove them from the picture thus firmly butting each of these alliances borders up against one another for an ultimate clash of power.
It may or may not be safe to say but these two alliances will be competing for the victory of the arena.
No hard feelings against any of the other alliances or players of those alliances that feel differently from my accessment of the current arena status.

I'm the guy not offering much resistance to Fungus. A69 is taking all my free* time.
*you know, like time I used to waste sleeping :(

None has now, what it was looking for... Tiberius and MLNW only where worried to attack tiny empires, not worried about Axis... if they had attacked first... things would be now different...
