I missed the last 2 weeks of the arena (vacation). Today the arena ended. :confused:
Could one of the 14 top players who merged into the super alliance please explain me why you decided to end the arena.

After Chriss and Ferenginar got the most of New waves planets there was not much chance for a balanced fight anyway.
Or did you wanted to join Mads to fight Tears ? ;)
Anyway, i am glad that the arena ends with the allaince victory, otherwise there had maybe been complains about betrays or my small allaince had been a target for Chriss bored fleets:)
because we decided some time ago, that we had to work together to bring a certain alliance down.
So the Mad Scientists and Tears each attacked only one half of this certain alliance.
And we didn't see a point in fighting against each other afterwards.

Yes Fungus is right, I didn't thought that all allymembers on both sides would survive this arena with lots of planets :D. But we did it, hehe.
And I really have to say that Ferenginar and me were also surprised how fast we were able to defeat our part ( Riva + Nikon) from the new wave....and lika nisha allready said was a ballanced arena almost impossible anymore.
So I asked arrround to join in a big ally that for hungry guys like Fungus a new vetarena can start soon and the beaten mighty eddi once again can seek for the 1 place.
I know I am only lending it but it feels good, hehe :D
Oh and special thnx to nisha, you did a great job in disturbing enemy's expansions and dividing their fleetpowers :)
lol, havnet recogniszed this during the arena, but i guess we were the only allaince who were in war with whole new wave during the game:D
But luckely we were only for a short time in the focus of war for Nikon, who killed Veridian , and annoyed me for a couple of turns. And Riva, who annoyed Novix :)
The other part of New wave (Eddi and Iudex) were the most time to bussy to care about us, and sended only some old trash to us:D
A speciell thx to Mads, who helped me and my allaince a lot against Eddi, who can really be a good enemie :D
And to Tears of course;) I was absolutly helpless against Nikon :p (all fleets he lost against me, he lost because of his own mistakes:D)

It was my perfect strategy that swung the tide in the favor of a super alliance. YES ME!!! (Crowd stands and cheers Tibs name)
Crisscross came to me early in the arena when New Wave had gotten a big lead, and looked like Ferion techs would be had by their alliance before our two smaller, but very effective alliances. Our thoughts were to make a super alliance early and not concern ourselves with the high alliance tax. However, it got to a point where Tears and their members thought a super alliance would be counter productive. So we decided to divide and conquer. Tears would attack the BG faction since we had a BG player in Mad Scientist Union, and we would concentrate on the German Luffewaffe of RU and Iudex. With Shaviyini causing all sorts of chaos against both sides we were able to dismantle New Wave quite easily. Tears had the advantage of having a out of town and working in a foreign country Lord Nikon, and a half hearted Riva Island who expended to much time and credits on assimulating Novix and Hofburgs planets. So Tears taking of their planets was quick and easy. Iudex was problematic at times but also had little interest in the arena after awhile. So that left a very determined RU, and boy did he put up a fight. However we also realized towards the end that there could be little if any position movement in the top 10 players and all we were doing at that point was slowing the inevitable. Yes, Tears could have came down on Mad Scientist Union, but since we worked together early on, and another round of attacks would have kept the arena active for at least another month I think we all felt that it was pointless, and a super alliance was best for all parties concerned.
However it was my mastery of diplomacy and war tactics that made it all possible. You can all send me keys for my efforts in helping you secure this victory.
No need to thank me, just keys will be all the thanks needed...:rolleyes:

No need to hate. I like you very much, eventhough I find you purely annoying, and a downright spammer for the most part. I am sure you will get a chance to kill me.
Just keep playing Ferion, get real good and then i will let you have a piece of me. I know you are itching sumthang ferious to take me out. That is good!! It's nice to see our youth of the game have goals in life.
To all the others in Vet 3 that finished in the Tears Alliance I toast all of you. You are all good players and fighters in your own right. I hope my earlier comments were not taken out of context, since it is terribly difficult to get my swollen ego filled head through most doors in current building architecture.
Jimi I am taking a break from Ferion for about 2 months or so. So hopefully when I return your ass-kicking skills will be up to par to make it to the end of an arena so that we may actually tangle in battle.
Till then go read the manual again.....:p

Hijimi if you want to beat Tib just name your ships "Siedler" and he will get scared and cry for his mom :D Tested it several times and even when I had 0 planets I ended up with more planets than him in the end... it just the Sielder ships, he really hates them :D
And for Eddi... shame on you...you...you...LOSER! My vet arena idol has been beaten, so whom shall I follow now?

First off, Primus you may have showed great feron skill in the past but I am ready for you this time. I could say something cute or insulting, but I do admire you as a player and a friend....err enemy. So your time will come. Just try to stay alive long enough in the arenas we share and I am sure we will butt heads again.
Scytheman, you nasty little bugger. Do not give away trade secrets to that Jimi guy. That is why I had trouble with Eddi, yes it is true I have a affliction when i see siedler ships. However, FP, i mean Buzzard boy your little tactics of the past dont work in the new ferion schematics, so i only see your ranking dropping further down the portal scores. Our first meeting, I was still green to the game persay, our second, you got lucky and used the old ferion setup and received help from your boyfriend while I was getting gangbanged by Microwave, Confed, and Tass. The third meeting, ALWAYS A CHARM, well you know the result of that, and it was I who was pissing down onto you. Don' t force me to open the large metal vaults of 80's one hit wonders on you. I dont want to have to send A Flock of Seagulls to your home and have them tear out your auditory canals.
Now, I may be Humpty Dumpty at times, but this time I got glue stuck to the bottom of my pants, so look out Ferion BOZOS!!!

@Tib... you just "won" the arena you mentioned (or better ended up higher than me) because I had to leave the game for 5 days coz my aunt died and I had to drive to souther germany. Internet cafes are crap and I couldn?t do everything needed... you just had a few points more than I had. When I left I was 1st, when I came back I was 5th and you 4th... thats not really a big thing :D
And send me your Milli Vanilli crap again I purchased enough ear protectors for years :D
Sooner or later we will meet again and you will stay in front of your computer again for 50 hours, drink tons of coffee and smoke 4 packs a day :D Say hello to your mom and wife and tell them you are on business again coz of HIM :rolleyes:
Oh and Chris, sure another one won but since that day Eddi won all vet arenas if I remember correctly. For normal arenas I admire Relax and his skills and for the vet arenas Eddi. If I have the time I will beat both one day... somewhere in 2050 or so :D

... DAMN in last 4 arens I fight against EDDI and I already see Siedler ships only in red :D(no need to bE in war with him

Hmmmm, a24 was my first arena I think... :D I managed to end up with place 21 or something like that. I think Borg Collective was nice enough to let my stay alive.
So you heard mayn things about me? Only good things I hope? (don?t listen to Tib, he hates me for being a creepy little vulture :D) thats why he always gets a heart attack when he sees a Siedler ship somewhere around :D
