There are a few things too consider with WAP....

1. How is it going too be applied cost effectively?
2. Is WAP secure enough for Ferion?
3. Do you (Admins) have enough time too monitor the inflow of data from the WAP system?
*ADDITION*
4. How are you going too graphically display the ammount of information required too play Ferion effectively on a WAP Browser?

Thats my 200,000,001 cents on the subject ;)

i guess due to the complexity of the game, all wap/sms-discussion are senseless (unless you wanna know if a speciific fleet fought & won an arena-deciding battle ^.-)

That would be well cool, what about on that orange phone which has internet sites anyway, with MSN Mesenger and other stuff onit to.

Also those PDA hand held comps. dont they have the internet and are able to access all websites?

I think this is a very good idea. And you're talking about the complexity.... But I mean that a limited version could be possible and VERY useful. For example to change your planets' production/science/social. Just that would be very nice....

I support this idea. To save space I would prefer if hex was used. That your 3 ships at 347*276 won a battle and got 2% 5% 6% damage and that your trooper captured the planet would then be the following part of the SMS: (just as example, and of course it is zipped so you'll need to unzip it first, which is actualy quite easy, look at the winzip help file under "manual unzipping") ...1F4B32978FFFF0024E... To send that fleet to the next near planet from the same empire, attack and capture it you have to reply 33FF957EAB123 (same as above). This saves space, money and you can do everything by SMS or WAP. And it saves time too, you won't need to rush to the comp anymore.
